Free Medical Camp at Tarai, addressing skin diseases of the poor and needy
NWO is organizing a free medical camp at Tarai, District Badin, aimed at addressing skin diseases of the poor and needy.
Tarai is situated approximately 13 kilometers from Badin, surrounded by about 15 villages in its immediate vicinity of 2 kilometers. Its estimated population is more than 10,000.
Dermatoses are among the most common disorders in the area, afflicting a great percentage of its inhabitants. Some of the most common skin infections are scabies, fungal infections and dermatitis.
At least 8 dermatologists will be volunteering in the camp, along with lady physicians to diagnose female patients. Besides the diagnoses, a host of volunteers will distribute free medicines to the citizens who have been diagnosed with skin conditions.
The tentative period to carry out this endeavor is the first week of March.
